If you wish to rent one of our accommodations, please contact us by e-mail or phone. We will immediately send you a reservation form by e-mail. After we have received the signed form, your reservation is final. During 5 days we reserve the accommodation of your choice, within which you can take care of the down payment. As soon as we have received this, we will convert the reservation into a definitive booking. If the rightly stated deadlines are not met, Haan Residence is to offer the accommodation to others.
On Saturdays you are normally welcome to take up residence from 3 p.m. Earlier than 3 p.m. is often possible, but this has to be discussed with the landlord first. We request that you leave the rented accommodation no later than 10 a.m. on Saturday, so that we have the opportunity to clean the house before the next guests arrive.
Upon booking you must pay a deposit of 300 to 750 euros (depending on which property). This will be settled with you by bank after we have checked the rented accommodation.
The down payment is 40% of the rent with a minimum of 300 euros when signing the lease. The remaining amount must be credited to our account 4 weeks before the start of the rental period.
We kindly request you to let us know in time if you cannot arrive within the set arrival times. If you arrive on a Sunday, public holiday or outside office hours, we charge a surcharge of 40 euros.
In case of cancellation more than 6 weeks before the start of the rental period, you owe 40% of the total amount with a minimum of 300 euros. You owe us the entire amount within 6 weeks before the start of the rental period. That is why we strongly recommend that you apply for a cancellation insurance.
Use of linen
The use of linen is compulsory. We are happy to arrange a set of sheets for you consisting of a pillowcase, mattress cover, duvet cover and 2 small and 1 large towel for the bathroom, a beach towel (per person each week) and a set of kitchen towels and bath mats
Maximum number of people
On the booking form that will be sent to you, state the names and number of people with whom you will move into the rented accommodation.
It is in no way permitted to exceed this maximum, which you have specified yourself. This can lead to withholding of the deposit and removal from the rented object, without any compensation being made.
Electricity and water supply
In the southern European countries power outages occasionally occur and (less frequently) water cut-off. Municipal or regional institutions can sometimes decide to cut off the electricity or water briefly for various technical reasons. Nor Haan Residence nor the owner of the house can be held liable for this.
In most homes there is internet/wifi available. Haan Residence cannot guarantee the speed and quality of the connection. You must bring a device yourself.
Change or cancellation
Haan Residence reserves the right, in extreme cases of force majeure, to find a suitable alternative for the tenant. Any difference in rental price will be borne by the tenant. This includes sales, damage, fire or technical defects. (Until now, Haan Residence has never had to use this right!)
Noise pollution, construction activities
Haan Residence makes every effort to deliver their accommodations as good and complete as possible. However, it cannot guarantee or be held liable for the environment and/or homes around the rented object for matters such as noise nuisance from neighbors, renovation, machines, etc.
Liability of the tenant
During your stay in the house, you as a tenant and all accompanying persons are responsible and liable for damage or loss of all things inside and outside the house. Any damage that was already present at the time of arrival must be reported within 24 hours. After that it falls under the responsibility of the tenants. We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance for all persons. Haan Residence will, firstly, withhold the damage from the deposit.
Haan Residence reserves the right to cancel the booking without stating reasons after receipt of the signed reservation form that will be sent to you. When the down payment has been received (within 5 days after signing), Haan Residence can no longer rely on this.
On request you can use a cot with mattress and a high chair for a small fee.
Payment for gas and electricity
At the end of the rental period, we will charge you gas and electricity according to consumption.
